James Driscoll has a pair of runner-up finishes to his name in his decade-plus career on the PGA Tour.

Sunday he might finally grab his first win.

The Virginia alum is in a four-way tie atop the leaderboard at the AT&T National at Congressional in Bethesda.

He came into the day tied for seventh at four-under and quickly got to work with a birdie on the first hole to start the round.

He would give that shot back on the second hole and then made par from 3-5. He sandwiched pars between birdies at six and nine to make him two-under on the front nine.

A birdie on 10 put him at -7, pushing him to the front of the pack. He would give the shot back on 15 but made up for it with a birdie on 16.

Driscoll is in a four-way tie for first with Bill Haas, Roberto Castro and Andres Romero.
