The Virginia football team could be without one of its starting wide receivers for Saturday's ACC opener at Georgia Tech.
Junior Tim Smith is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game because of a lower extremity issue. Smith has seven catches for 108 yards through Virginia's first two games.
Smith is one of three players on the injury list released Thursday that have started both games for the Cavaliers this season. Defensive end Billy Schautz is listed as questionable with a lower extremity injury, while tight end Paul Freedman is probably with an upper extremity injury.
Left guard Cody Wallace is the only Virginia player listed as out for Saturday's game. Wallace started the Cavaliers' season-opening win against Richmond, but missed last week's Penn State game. Wallace has a lower extremity injury.
