The Virginia soccer team's incoming recruiting class includes a pair of players' from the Cavaliers' backyard.
Virginia announced its 10-member recruiting class for 2013 on Thursday. The class is ranked No. 5 in the country by Top Drawer Soccer, and it includes two of the top three recruits in the country, according to College Soccer News.
It also features two players from Albemarle County school. Albemarle midfielder Luc Fatton led the Patriots in goals (11), assists (12), and total points (34) last year, helping the team win the AAA state championship as a junior. Midfielder/defender Hayes Fountain was a member of the Jefferson District champs at Western Albemarle last spring.
The two local products are part of a recruiting class that also includes forward Nicko Corriveau of Maryland, and midfielder Jordan Allen of New York. Those two players are ranked the No. 2 and No. 3 prospects in the country by College Soccer News.
