The Virginia volleyball team dropped a four-set match against Pittsburgh, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21 and 25-8, Friday night at Memorial Gymnasium. With the loss, the Cavaliers fell to 17-14 on the season and 10-9 in the ACC.
Freshman Jasmine Burton led the Cavaliers with 17 kills and no errors, while junior Natalie Bausback added nine kills.
With 21 digs, senior Emily Rottman became the seventh Cavalier to reach 500 digs in a season and now has 517 for the season, sixth-most in UVa single-season history.
Freshman Haley Kole moved into third place on the UVa freshman kills list with 417.
The Cavaliers conclude the regular season Saturday with a home match against Maryland at 7 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium.
