Virginia junior Morgan Brian scored her first goal for the United States Women’s National Team during Tuesday’s 7-0 victory over Mexico in a friendly at RFK Stadium.

Brian, who had entered the game just two minutes earlier, scored the final goal of the night in the 72nd minute.

The Cavalier midfielder was making her second appearance for the national team. Her first came in a 4-1 victory over South Korea on June 15.

The Americans, ranked No. 1 in the world, ran their overall unbeaten streak to 35 games and their home unbeaten streak to 73. They are 27-1-1 all-time against 24th-ranked Mexico.

Abby Wambach also scored for the U.S., extendeding her world record with her 161st international goal. Sydney Leroux scored four times in the first half, and Rachel Buehler added a goal as well.
