Kyle Crockett is spending his summer on the Cape and apparently enjoying himself quite nicely.

The lefty was named to the Cape Cod League East All-Star team Friday. He has a 1.12 ERA in 15 innings for the Orleans Firebirds with 19 strikeouts.

The reliever had five wins with a 2.25 ERA in 60 innings for the Cavaliers this past season.

The Cape Cod League is a collegiate summer league that uses wooden bats and is considered a springboard to the Major Leagues. The All-Star Game is next Saturday.
