With more muscle and a better understanding of the Virginia defense, UVa sophomore Mike Moore is confident ahead of his second year with the 'Hoos.

Head coach Mike London says the defensive end reported to camp bigger and stronger than last year.

"He's at the point of his opportunities that he wants to show flashes of being able to go into a game and be a guy that's a contributor, a consistent contributor," said London. "I think his attitude is great. I think he's focused and he's locked in on what he needs to do to play."

Moore played in all twelve games as a freshman, recording 14 tackles and one sack. He says things are definitely different in training camp the second time around.

"I gained a little more muscle, tried to get a little faster," Moore says of his training ahead of camp. "Just knowing the defense pretty well, I know that's going to help me. I definitely feel like I've been here a little bit longer, I feel like I've been here about five years."
