The Virginia men's basketball team lost its second game in a row, falling 59-44 at Clemson Saturday. The 44 points were Virginia's lowest point total since losing 63-44 loss to Boston College on Feb. 26, 2011.
Joe Harris led the Cavaliers with 14 points, and Akil Mitchell added 9 rebounds. Harris was the only Cavalier to score in double figures.
UVa shot just 17-48 from the floor, and 5-17 from 3-point range on the day. Virginia falls to 11-5 and 1-2 in the ACC with the loss.
Milton Jennings had a game-high 21 points for Clemson and added 11 rebounds to give Clemson its first conference win of the season.
The Cavaliers will host Florida State in Charlottesville Jan. 19 at 4 p.m.
