Weather Forces Changes to UVa Baseball Schedule

The weather forecast in South Carolina is forcing changes to the Virginia baseball schedule the rest of the weekend.

The Cavaliers will now face Coastal Carolina at 2 p.m. Saturday at Watson Stadium in Conway. That game was originally scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday.

Following that game, Virginia will travel to Myrtle Beach to face James Madison on Saturday evening. Start time of that game depends on when the Cavaliers arrive at BB&T Coastal Field. If weather forces that game to be postponed, it will be rescheduled for Sunday.

The JMU game was originally scheduled for noon on Sunday.

The weekend forecast for Myrtle Beach is calling for sunny skies on Saturday afternoon, but rain that evening and all day Sunday.

The Cavaliers opened the 2012 season with a 5-3 loss to Boston College on Friday afternoon.
