Kelsey Wolfe came up a rebound shy of a double-double, and led the Virginia women to a 68-65 win at Pennsylvania on Monday.
Wolfe scored a career-high 22 points and finished with nine rebounds for the Cavaliers, who improved to 2-0 with the win. Senior forward Telia McCall added 14 points and eight rebounds, while junior guard Ataira Franklin finished with 13 points.
Virginia trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half, a lead the Quakers matched early in the second half. But Wolfe led the comeback, making all nine of her free throws in the game, including a pair of late three-point plays as the Cavaliers rallied to take the lead.
