Stephanie joined the news team in December 2007 as a general assignment reporter. Before coming to the Newsplex she worked at WTKR NewsChannel 3 in Norfolk for more than two years. There, she held many positions. She started out as an intern, then was hired to work in production, and most recently was the nightside assignment editor.

She graduated from Old Dominion University in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication.

Stephanie is no stranger to central Virginia. She grew up in both Louisa and Orange counties.

When she's not working, you can you usually find her reading, talking on the phone or watching HGTV. Stephanie also enjoys shopping with her mom and attending jazz concerts with her dad.
