Biography:

Katie Shelor joined the Newsplex in July 2012 as producer for Good Morning Charlottesville. Katie grew up in Roanoke, but spent the last four years attending Washington and Lee University in Lexington, where she majored in journalism.

Katie has interned as a producer and reporter at WDBJ-TV and WSLS Channel 10, both in Roanoke.

In her free time, Katie likes to sing, play guitar, read and spend time with her friends and family.

Katie is looking forward to getting to know Central Virginia and all the unique things it has to offer.
