Bianca Spinosa joined the Newsplex team in June 2008. She graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2008, majoring in English and minoring in Media Studies.

Bianca interned at CBS19, where she shot, wrote, and edited stories for the Newsplex. Most recently, Bianca hosted promotions and contests for home UVA Women's Basketball games, where she helped pump up the crowd during the game.

Bianca worked in the Sports Marketing and Promotions Department at UVA as a student, and has been active in athletics most of her life. She was a part of the Novice Rowing team, and took home an ACC Championship in 2006. Bianca spent her first year of college at Tufts University in Boston. She wrote news and sports articles for the Tufts Daily newspaper, and in-depth news articles and commentary for the monthly magazine, the Tufts Observer. She also swam on the Varsity Swim Team at Tufts.
