Brittany joined the Newsplex team in November 2013 as a producer/reporter. She currently anchors Good Morning Charlottesville.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Brittany is a graduate of San Francisco State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts. There, she was involved in the student-run weekly newscast and became a member of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Incorporated.

During her time in San Francisco she interned with several news organizations including KGO Radio, KNBR, and KRON4 News.

Brittany worked as a Producer at KGO Radio for 2 years before moving to Charlottesville. There, she was awarded several honors for her contributions including, a National Edward R. Murrow Award and an Associated Press Television-Radio Association Mark Twain Award for breaking news coverage of Asiana Airlines Flight 214.

In her free time Brittany loves to dabble in a few do-it-yourself craft projects and spend time with her sorority sisters.

Brittany is excited to see what Charlottesville has to offer and is looking forward to connecting with the community.
