Madeline anchors Good Morning Charlottesville from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. and reports for the Newsplex
Madeline Curott joined the news team at the Charlottesville Newsplex in July of 2014.
She anchors Good Morning Charlottesville on CBS19/ABC16 and reports.
Madeline is an established multimedia journalist with more than 15 years of experience producing, reporting and anchoring news and sports across the country, including four-and-a-half years at the Newsplex’s sister station, WHSV in Harrisonburg. However, she comes to the Newsplex after spending three winters in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
Madeline is a Virginia native and is happy to report that she never dropped the word “y’all” from her vocabulary as she crisscrossed the country, and each time she used it, she was sure to hear, “You’re not from around here, are you?” Who knew the word “y’all” could make way for such great conversations and opportunities to educate Idahoans, Kentuckians, Pennsylvanians and Minnesotans about the great state of Virginia?!
Madeline is a graduate of Radford University.
