Jessica Jaglois moved from the Big Apple to join the Newsplex team in August 2009. She graduated with honors from New York University before working as a field producer and video journalist for NY1 News in Manhattan.

Jessica has covered major headlines including US Airways flight 1549's splash landing on the Hudson River, the Bernard Madoff arrest and trial, and the Wall Street collapse. She has also interviewed numerous politicians and celebrities.

Jessica is a self-proclaimed news junkie but loves movies and reading. She also has an unhealthy affinity for trashy reality television. She is excited to explore what Charlottesville has to offer.
