Brantley Ussery has been following his dream of becoming a weatherman since he was four years old, when he met his calling visiting a local television station. His life in North Carolina allowed Brantley to experience every weather phenomenon, which fueled his goal of becoming a meteorologist.
Brantley graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences. While gaining exposure, he had the opportunity to work with several different TV stations across the state, including WGHP in High Point and WXII at Winston-Salem. It was during these experiences that Brantley picked up invaluable bits of knowledge about the television business.
When he's not at the station giving you the latest forecast, Brantley enjoys hiking, bike riding, music and, of course, keeping up with all of his friends and family in North Carolina. He is very excited to be living in Charlottesville and looks forward to meeting as many people as he can in our community. If you see him on the streets, say "Hi!"
