Now that some time has passed, we can begin to assess the damage done to the US by Edward Snowden's revelations. Frederick Hitz, the first Presidentially-appointed Inspector General at CIA and senior faculty at the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy will discuss what if anything we should alter in NSA's meta-data collection program and what can and should be done to avert future Snowdens. --- On the mornings of home football games, hear some of the University of Virginia's top minds. The Lifetime Learning Program in Alumni & Parent Engagement partners with the Alumni Association Football Weekends in offering More Than the Score. Talks are free and open to all. "Chillin' on the Creek Road" is a benefit for Gary Davis' medical fund. Gary has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain. Hebron Lutheran Church, Madison, Virginia
The 4th annual Crafters' Bazaar to be held at historic Hebron Lutheran Church in Madison, Va. Local churches will be participating, as well as vendors from around the state. Tours will be given of the church, which is the oldest Lutheran church in the country still in continuous use.
