Renovating the Rotunda
Jody Lahendro, Historic Preservation Architect

As the first phase of the Rotunda renovations comes to an end, professional designs for the remaining phases are just beginning. Jody will give a presentation of the current roof replacement and exterior repairs, and the planning to replace building systems and make operational improvements. Particular focus will be directed on the research and findings associated with the Rotunda’s historic features, including the Jeffersonian brickwork, portico capitals, and ornamental sheet metal. The Rotunda renovations will take at least five years to complete.
