Dorrie Fontaine, Dean, Nursing
David Germano, Professor, Religious Studies
David Mick, Professor, Marketing
Susan Bauer-Wu, Professor, Nursing
Thanks to a transformational gift from Sonia and Paul Tudor Jones, UVA’s Contemplative Sciences Center is changing the way we teach, learn, and live together. Contemplative practices include yoga, meditation, and prayer to foster awareness, wisdom, creativity, compassion, and well-being.
A panel of UVA faculty in the disciplines of business, humanities, and health care will highlight the innovative and dramatic shifts the University is making not only in curriculum and research, but also in its engagement with the world.
