What do you get when you place some of the funniest national comedians and some
of the most talented jazz musicians into a blender, turn the blender on then pour the
contents into a glass? You get a tall glass of the National Comedy with a Taste of Jazz
Series with its first show starring national comedian Antoine Scott and jazz legend
John D'earth. This historical moment for Charlottesville, Virginia will take place on
Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the V. Earl Dickinson Main Stage on the campus of
Piedmont Virginia Community College.

From the company which brought the United Nations of Comedy Tour to the
Paramount Theater, the National Stand Up Comedy Series to Live Arts and Play On
Theatre and the Squeaky Clean Comedy Tour, Lifeview Marketing sets forth to further
diversify Charlottesville's audiences with this new creation. The idea is to further
enhance the cultural landscape of Charlottesville.

Comedian Antoine Scott has performed stand-up on national programs including
Showtime at the Apollo and Bill Bellamy's "Who Got Jokes?". He has shared the stage
with many of today's top comedians and made it difficult for the best to follow him. His
real-life clean comedy is appropriate for the entire family.

If you live under a non-jazz related rock then that may be the only reason you are not
familiar with John D'earth. This jazz icon is a living legend and has receive world
acclaim for his ingenious compositions and level of skill. From the humble days of
meeting Miles Davis as a teenager in a nightclub to teaching music at the University of
Virginia, internationally known jazz musicians seek out John when they visit the area.
D'earth is not performing alone, the product on stage will be the John D'earth Cohort;
An amazing ensemble of funky musicians.

The musicians and comedian will perform two sets each, respectively, so prepare your
mind to switch from live jazz to comedy and back again. The V. Earl Dickinson Main
