Pancakes for Parkinson's

University of Virginia students will host the eighth annual Pancakes for Parkinson’s on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9:00am to 1:00pm before the home football game against NC State. Pancakes for Parkinson’s is a free pancake breakfast on UVa’s historic Lawn organized to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. All proceeds are donated to the foundation, which works to aid research and increase awareness about Parkinson’s disease.

Our Lady of Peace is sponsoring a pancake breakfast to raise funds and supplies for the Fluvanna SPCA. Some of our four-legged friends available for adoption will be attending this event in hopes of finding a new home. Come on out and support your local shelter animals!
