Blondes vs. Brunettes Charity Powder Puff Registration Party

Come learn about and sign up for CVille's inaugural Blondes vs. Brunettes charity powder puff game, organized by Charlottesville Young Professionals to benefit the Alzheimer's Association! John Paul Jones Arena, along with the Rock and Roll Foundation are pleased to announce the ATLANTIC COAST STARS vs. PRO STARS basketball game on Saturday, October 29 at 3:30pm.

Some of the NBA's biggest stars, including Kevin Durant , Rudy Gay, and John Wall, will lead the PRO STARS. Cavalier greats Robert Mason, Jr. and JR Reynolds will lead the ACC STARS. This event will benefit the Rock and Roll Foundation and the United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area.

Enjoy wine donated by Veritas Vineyards, wonderful food provided by the Omni, entertainment and door prizes. Plus, you'll get some fundraising tips from top team captains from past years.

You can sign up your team or just learn more about the Walk which will be on Sept. 17 this year starting at the Albemarle County Office Building.

Eville Grill will be hosting a Cruise In on Saturday, May 7th from 5:00-7:00pm. A portion of the Proceeds from this evening will be donated to Hospice of the Piedmont. There will be door prizes, cash prizes, 50-50 raffle, FREE ice cream for children 12 and under, music and food discounts for drivers. There is NO charge for car entrys. Eville Grill is located in Earlysville in the old Whyte's Supermarket parking lot.

The Junior League of Charlottesville Casino Night Fundraising Event

Charlottesville, VA (January 7, 2010) ---- Enjoy an evening of "Vintage Vegas-style" entertainment while you help support the Junior League of Charlottesville’s community programs. The inaugural Casino Night , Vintage Vegas, is set for 7PM to 11PM, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Boars Head Inn Pavilion.

The theme, "Vintage Vegas, glitz – glamour - games," will be carried out with casino games and fantasy dealers. There will be live music, prizes, heavy hors d’oeuvres and more. Admission is $80 per person and includes $10,000 worth of “play” dollars and one (1) drink ticket. Attendees will test their luck at the gaming tables in order to win prizes of all types.

The Junior League of Charlottesville also invites individuals and companies to support the organization by becoming an event sponsor. All proceeds will benefit our community programs which include Charlottesville Youth and Family Services Program; The Boys and Girls Club of Charlottesville; Emily Couric Advocacy Award and the Junior League of Charlottesville’s Community Grant Program.

Vintage Vegas is a great way to celebrate the spirit of St. Valentine by taking your sweetheart to a glamorous event to eat, drink and dance the night away while playing games- all while benefitting the Charlottesville community.
