Charlottesville Area Design House 2011

The Shelter for Help in Emergency's 2011 Charlottesville Area Design House will be open for tours May 7th – May 22nd. Mint Springs Farm, will welcome designers to engage their talents with the latest in interior design styles and techniques for a home tour designed to inspire not only ideas but hope, in support of the Shelter’s mission to end domestic violence in our community.
A “Hard Hat Tour” will take place in the afternoon on Sunday, March 20th 2011. During this event, visitors can walk through the house before its redesign to truly appreciate the transformation. Food, beverages, and entertainment will be included in ticket pricing for this one day event.
The “Preview Gala” will take place in the evening on Friday, May 6th 2001. Attendees will be the first to tour the redesigned house and enjoy an elegant evening which includes food, wine, and live entertainment. Advance ticket purchase will be required.
Design House tours have been extended to two weeks in 2011, running from Saturday May 7th through Sunday May 22nd. Tickets will be $20 per person and available for advance purchase online or at the door.
Design House is a perfect complement to the Shelter for Help in Emergency’s mission of transforming lives to end domestic violence in our community, and belief that peace on earth begins at home.
