The Junior League of Charlottesville is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Charlottesville, VA (January 3, 2011) ---- Get shaken and stirred at the Junior League of Charlottesville’s second annual Casino Night, Vintage Vegas: Diamonds are Forever. The event to benefit the JLC’s community programs will take place from 7PM to 11PM, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Boars Head Pavilion. . Tickets start at $85 dollars and include dancing, gaming, a silent auction and more. This year, a live poker tournament is included with a special VIP ticket purchase. The Junior League of Charlottesville also invites individuals and companies to support the organization by making a tax-deductible donation in support of the event.
