The Dennis Walters Golf Show

Saturday July 21, 2012 @ Pleasant Grove Community Park located in Palmyra Va on Rt 53. Come out and join Free Union Gospel Church for some good old fun for both the kids and adults. We will have a moon bounce, face painting, volleyball, horseshoes and lots of good ol' singing. Please come out for food, fun and fellowship.
This is a free event but we will be selling fish dinners and chicken dinners for $10.00 that consist of 2 sides, hush puppies, dessert and drink.

Charlottesville Derby Dames: Stars and Strikes Forever

Roller Derby! Charlottesville Derby Dames: Downtown Maulers host DC Rollergirls: Capital Offenders.
A portion of proceeds go towards the Charlottesville Free Clinic.
Tickets are $7 in advance at Blue Moon Diner, Rivanna Gear and Apparel, and; $10 at the door.
Children 5-10 get half-price admission at the door ($5)Children under 5 get in for free!

It’s as easy as counting “1-2-3 Imagine!” This high-energy musical will transport audiences to far away places as Ernie captains the high seas, Elmo dances to the rhythm of the African rainforest and Bert meets an octopus who has the blues. It’s a story of adventure and fun that teaches children they can be anyone, do anything and go anywhere with the power of imagination.

This imagination-inspired musical will make a stop at John Paul Jones Arena on Wednesday, June 8 for two performances only!
