Monticello Holiday Evening Tours

Thomas Jefferson's Monticello
These small-group house tours, which include the Dome Room, offer visitors an intimate look at how the holidays were celebrated in Jefferson's time, plus the rare opportunity to experience Monticello after dark. Tours begin at 5:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on each date. $45; reserved tickets are required.
Please note: Holiday Evening Tours are not recommended for children under age 6. Portions of this tour are not handicapped-accessible.

17th Annual Artisan Studio Tour

Tour Central Virginia this fall to see some of the area’s finest handmade craft professionals at work in their studios. Over 30 artisans in 19 studios will be opening their doors during this weekend-long event to demonstrate their work. See pottery, jewelry, textiles, furniture, and other finished craft pieces. See the work in process, and get a detailed look at the lives of these local artisans.

"Meet Yer Eats" Farm Tour

When you purchase a pass for the Meet Yer Eats Farm Tour, you pick the farms you want to visit - at your own pace. Fruits, vegetables, and artisan meats and cheeses will also be available for purchase. The Farm Tour is a true family and friend experience you won’t want to miss!

UVA Graduate Class Dining & Tour

UVA graduate students, family and friends are invited to a rare opportunity to experience Monticello after hours, enjoy live music and stroll the gardens at sunset during the peak of the spring season. Guests will be able to see four new interactive exhibitions, view Monticello’s new introductory film and take advantage of a private shopping opportunity at the Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center Museum Shop. The reception includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar featuring Virginia wines and Monticello Reserve Ale.
