A hot spot for the sun seekers were the local golf courses.
One worker from Birdwood Golf Course at Boar's Head says they have seen triple the number of golfers over the past couple of weeks than they normally do this time of year.
Golfer Jim Doyle says "last week was beautiful and I'm going to try and get out everyday this week, actually as long as it stays this nice."
"I haven't taken a week off yet, I remember last year it dropped down to seventeen degrees and a friend of mine still came out and played golf so if it's sixty there's not really a problem" said golfer Tyler Carson.
There were also plenty of other people on the tennis and basketball courts.
