Several lines of severe storms pushed through the Deep South on Saturday leaving a wake of damage behind.
The Storm Prediction Center reported over 100 wind damage reports, over 50 hail reports, and about 50 tornado reports Nationwide. The majority of the tornado reports stretched through Central Mississippi.
A tornado almost a mile wide tore through Mississippi on Saturday, killing at least 10 people and causing significant injuries and damage. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue crews reach hard-hit areas where structures have been badly damaged.
