Survey Of Charlottesville Hotels Shows No Room At The Inn

August 26, 2011

If you're looking for a hotel room in and around the Charlottesville area you may be out of luck. Because so many people are trying to get-a-ways from the hurricane, most of the local hotels are at full capacity for the weekend.

For example we called, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hilton Garden Inn, Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, and the Marriott.

Also, when it comes to air travel at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Regional Airport, on Saturday Executive Director, Barbara Hutchinson says they anticipate major delays and cancellations out of the major hubs, especially, Dulles, LaGuardia, and Philadelphia.

So, before you head out, rather than call (because phone lines will be jammed) they suggest checking airline websites including www.gocho.com for the latest hurricane information.
