More aftershocks from last summer's earthquake have rattled Louisa County.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.5-magnitude aftershock occurred at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday 5 miles southwest of Mineral and 6 miles south-southeast of Louisa.
Another aftershock occurred 8 miles south of Louisa and 8 miles southwest of Mineral around 9:20 a.m. The second aftershock was a magnitude 2.0.
A third aftershock occurred around 4:00 p.m. this evening. It was also a 2.5 in magnitude.
No damage has been reported.
The Virginia Department of Emergency Management says Wednesday's aftershocks are the 82nd and 83rd since the 5.8-magnitude earthquake on Aug. 23, 2011. The earthquake's epicenter was in Mineral.
