Another winter storm is trekking through Virginia, this time taking aim at the central, southern and southwestern portions of the state.
The National Weather Service says a winter storm warning is in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday from Richmond south to the North Carolina border and until 7 a.m. Friday in places like Blacksburg, Lynchburg, Roanoke and Wytheville.
The storm is expected to bring up to 6 inches of snow in some places before changing over to trace amounts of ice.
