On November 30th, a large group of 4th graders from Stony Point came to the Newsplex to get a tour of the weather center. While they were here, they learned how a meteorologist makes a forecast and how they communicate this forecast with the viewers. A few kids even got up in front of the green screen and did their own forecast for the group! After we looked at all of the different weather computers that show satellite and radar information, it was picture time! We crowded up around the anchor desk to take a large group picture of their visit!
