Cub Scout Pack 36 Weather Talk

On December 18th, I met up with Cub Scout Pack 36 at the First United Methodist Church in Charlottesville. We talked about meteorologists and how they take weather data and turn this into a forecast. To help make it more visual, we looked a weather map and we looked over a forecast. We talked about all the many ways forecasts can be useful for people and then it was question time! The Scouts had questions about everything from weather balloons to satellites and we even talked about the differences between hail and sleet. At the end we snapped a group photo!
