Albemarle High School Field Trip

On January 3rd, a group of students from Albemarle High School came to visit the weather center here at the Newsplex. While they were here, we talked about the many different ways weather can impact our lives. We talked about temperatures, wind, and different kinds of precipitation as well as the instruments we would use to measure these things. Finally, we looked at the green screen and talked about how the weather goes from our studio to the viewer at home! We had a great time and one student even did a mock weather broadcast for us!
