On January 21st, a group of Tiger Cub Scouts from Dens 2 and 5 of Pack 77 came to visit me here at the Newsplex. We walked through the weather center and looked at all of the different weather computers. We talked about what each computer does and how they can help us make a forecast. Then we talked about how the meteorologist can broadcast this forecast to people at home. We even got to see a little bit of "Hollywood magic" here in Charlottesville with the green screen that helps bring the weather to the viewer's television screen. We had a great time and then took a big group picture up on the anchor desk!
