On January 23rd, I went to Stone Robinson Elementary School to speak with the 5th graders. We met in the library and talked about different weather instruments, weather forecasts, and how a meteorologist can broadcast this information to the public at home. Then we talked about cold fronts, warm fronts, high and low pressure systems, and why some severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Finally, we all got together and took a big group picture. We had a great time!
