On January 31st, I paid a visit to the 4th graders at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Louisa. While I was there, we talked about the many different ways that a meteorologist can study the weather. Then we applied some of the things we talked about to a current weather map. We talked about cold fronts, warm fronts, high pressure and low pressure, and how all of these things can impact our lives every single day. Finally, we all got together against the cafeteria wall and took a big group photo!
