On February 27th, a group of high school students from Albemarle High, Monticello High and CATEC came to the Newsplex for a tour of our studios. While they were here, we took a tour of the weather center and talked about each of the different weather computers. We talked about our radar and why this is such an important tool for us to have as meteorologists. Then we looked at the "TV magic" side of things and went over to the green screen to see how the weather forecast goes from the studio the people watching at home. Then we took a big group picture up at the anchor desk. We had a great time!
