On April 18th, I went to Woodbrook Elementary School to speak with the 2nd graders! While I was there, we talked about high and low pressure systems and why they are so important to our weather. We also talked about cold fronts and the importance of a weather forecast. One group even brought up the subject of Tornado Alley, which we were able to look at on a map. The weather outside was beautiful so we stood out in front of the school and took a big group snapshot! We all had a great time!
