Hollymead Elementary School Visit

On Monday, November 17th, I went to Hollymead Elementary School to visit with a great group of 1st graders. While I was there, we talked about the many different ways a meteorologist can study the weather. We discussed many different weather instruments, like the thermometer, anemometer, and the wind vane. We also talked about how important computers are to a meteorologist. Then finally we talked about how the weather forecast goes from the TV studio to the viewer at home through the television or the internet. We all got together for a big group picture at the end and we all had a great time!
